The Fray，中文翻譯成瑕疵樂團也並無不可，
本身出發點就是以非主流音樂開始，
表現的方式如同樂團一樣，粗曠不加修飾，
個人很喜歡這種方式，許多我喜愛的樂團都有這樣的特徵，
像是之前有提到的our lady peace以及matchbox20，
當然他們之間的粗曠野是有差別的，
the fray風格有點像是U2外加一點年青人在倉庫追求夢想的畫面，
這樣講有點奇怪，畢竟台灣很少有人在車庫練樂團，
具體一點就大概是美式但又不會很老氣，
有點像是唱all star的那個樂團(史瑞可主題曲)的風格。

在台灣也是個不是挺有名的樂團，
我想年輕是台灣不太熟悉的原因，
除了團員年輕，團體的建立也年輕，
應該是2002年才剛開始，
開始找團員開始建立樂團風格，
這一群在丹佛的小子快速的也在2002，
發行了他們的第一個EP，
緊接著第二年又發行第二個EP，
一切都很快速，
2005 年被票選為"最佳新進樂團"，
就像狂風掃過，快速串起的年輕樂團，
帶著活力也帶著一點社會及人性的反思。

the Fray，或許邊緣也或許磨損，
卻很真實。
